Z helps kiwis go places with over 200 stations from North to South with more Z stations coming on stream.
Fuel, Z Shops and great forecourts are just some of the reasons why Kiwi motorists head to Z stations from Kaitaia to Invercargill. Currently with 208 stations, the number of Z locations continues to grow each year to meet demand.
The journey to take a new build or redevelopment of an existing site through to opening day is a complex one, with all sites being unique in their requirements.
Project management is an important ingredient to progress a site through the many stages in the process; from Development Agreement to resource consenting, design management, enabling works, contractor procurement, construction management, hazard management, programme and budget management.
The Building Intelligence Group (TBIG) is proud to work with Z providing project management resource on projects in Rotokauri, Kumeu, Silverdale, Hobsonville, Karaka and Westgate. Z sites range from Tier 1, eight lane new to industry builds (NTI’s) to Tier 2, four lane stations with smaller Z shops.
All sites differ in site complexity and geotechnical challenges, requiring close consultation with engineers, Councils and Z’s fuel engineers. Onsite construction and fitout comprises a carefully coordinated four month process, working closely with multiple stakeholders from the developer to Z’s Fuel Engineer, Z Supply, the Z Retailer (normally a locally owned business), Retail Dimensions (fitout delivery) and Councils.
