It is with great sadness we share the passing of Terry Mansfield, our inspirational Project Director, mentor and colleague.

Over a long career, steeped in iconic projects that shaped Auckland’s cityscape in particular, Terry had a profound impact on everyone he worked with.

Terry was a phenomenal team man, with a big heart and a huge talent for mentoring the next generation of project managers. As a rock for our Auckland team, he always shared his considerable experience and love of our industry. Terry was held in the highest regard because of his integrity, calmness and honesty. Over a remarkable 45 year career, he stood out for the trust and relationships he built with everyone he engaged with.

For Terry, projects were always about people, and the legacy of his work stands tall in projects that touched many people’s lives including social housing, heritage restoration, post-earthquake Christchurch, commercial, hotel and numerous iconic spaces including Auckland’s Vector Arena.

We acknowledge Terry for the intelligence, tenacity, leadership and humour he brought to our Auckland team over the past nine years. Our deepest thoughts and condolences are with Terry’s wife Annette and family.
